The Rocketeer is one of the best features of Disney in the superhero genre. It is quite unfortunate that is did not get the credit it deserves. For it is a theatrical wonder.

It is about a young man who by chance discovers a flying device and goes against a Nazi agent. Not much of a premise, I know. Nevertheless it comes with an amazingly written plot that flows effortlessly. The characters are well written and the performance is great.

It is a family movie which could grace anyone’s Sunday afternoon.
